The definition of disability has slowly but favorably evolved during the last years shifting the focus from the individual’s adverse health condition to the external barriers which hinder inclusion.
For 33 years, DSE achieved the greatest impact on the inclusion of people with disabilities through Dialogue in the Dark, our flagship project that benefits visually impaired people by giving them a job.
For some Dialogue in the Dark partners, re-opening venues have been a roll coaster experience going from constantly changing restrictions for public events to mistrust of visitors towards in-person gatherings.
