Taiwan is one of the countries which have not been severely affected in 2020 by Covid-19. Our DiD partners were even allowed to conduct in-person dark workshops although not regularly.
However, 2021 has brought some challenges, and due to a raise in Covid-19 cases, the country has imposed some precautious measurements. Therefore, in-person events have been restricted in the last months.
In response, DiD Taipei has developed a program called “Stride over the epidemic, together.” Ups and downs during the current pandemic as well as lockdowns have caused anxiety about the future, tighten stress in the family & poor efficiency at their work. How can we all go through this crisis together and safely? DiD Taipei wants to accompany its clients and their families back to the light again.
For this reason, they created “Stride over the epidemic, together.” It is a series of virtual talks by blind experts, psychologists and a professional singer, who are also VI facilitators in the DiD Taipei team and who will share their stories and some applicable tools to deal with body and mind stress caused by the lockdown.
DiD Taipei is offering these talks as part of their marketing campaign to prepare the future in-person events. It's a B2B2C initiative. They have reached out to many important managers from former corporate clients who already experienced and appreciated the DiD workshops to promote this campaign. Clients’ Employees and their families are invited to join these virtual talks for free. The virtual talks last 40 minutes and include a speech and a Q&A. Two slots per week on one topic are available for booking up to 100 participants.
Furthermore, tickets for the re-opening of the in-person DiD Taipei special event (family only) will be offered for pre-booking to the “Stride over the epidemic, together” attendees. So, when they reach the light again in daily living, they can come back to the dark to encounter together in a DiD Taipei special escape room experience for the family.
We think this is a great idea, supporting the community with online solutions while getting ready for the near return to in-person events. Thanks DiD Taipei!
