Even as a pretty young company we can look back on a longer history. The groundwork began in 1995 when Andreas Heinecke started his first social enterprise, Consens Dr. Andreas Heinecke. This was legally and literally a one-person company with the target of producing and promoting Dialogue in the Dark and Dialogue in Silence. After establishing Consens Exhibitions Ltd, Dialogmuseum Ltd. and Schattensprache Ltd., Andreas understood that the shell of the company had became too narrow and asked his closest associates to join a bolder new company, Dialogue Social Enterprise. Orna Cohen, Laura Gorni, Klara Kletzka and Thomas Richter agreed and in 2008 we started our new venture.

Dialogue Social Enterprise is based in Hamburg, Germany, with team members working from Italy, India and Bulgaria.
