Dialogue Social Enterprise (DSE) creates exhibitions and workshops in either complete darkness – “Dialogue in the Dark” – or absolute silence – “Dialogue in Silence” -, facilitated by blind or deaf guides and trainers. In those environments, the blind or deaf guides and trainers are the high potentials , while non-disabled people are confronted with their limits. This role reversal and the encounter with disabled talents in a highly immersive space are the keys to enhance empathy and to shift ignorance/ discrimination onto interest/ respect. Dialogue-Programs help overcome disability-related prejudices, while empowering disabled people through employment.

07/12/2010: CEO Andreas Heinecke has been selected as Fellow from Germany to participate at the Ashoka Globalizer, a new initiative that brings together the 25 world’s most advanced social entrepreneurs with leading business entrepreneurs at the Hofburg palace in Vienna in Austria, on August 1st to help them globalize their projects.

06/23/2010: Now the date is confirmed! A new Dialogue in the Dark exhibition will open on the 2nd of October in Hyderabad/India: The company ACE (Art, Culture and Education) is launching this unique experience on about 11,000 square feet at the Inorbit mall in Hyderabad. This mall is presently the largest retail mall of South India with more than half a million square feet housing more than 100 international brands.
